Hi All!
Welcome to sixth grade at Bellevue Elementary.
Here's a little about me...
My name is Kimberly Toller and I am one of the sixth grade teachers here at Bellevue. I decided I was going to be a teacher when I was in fifth grade. My teacher, Mr. Ford, was so encouraging and taught us to believe in ourselves through perseverance and working diligently. He allowed me to embrace the culture I came from in Denmark, and encouraged me to push myself to be my best. I loved the feeling of success. I knew then, that I could do the same for my future students.
I have lived in Sonoma County for over 15 years. I graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Liberal Studies and went on to receive my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through Sonoma State as well.
I started teaching at Bellevue six years ago in Kindergarten. Then four years ago I made the jump to sixth grade and decided this was where I belong. I love sixth graders and teaching sixth grade. My students are fun, exciting, and truly inspiring in so many ways. Everyday I look forward to watching them grow, learn, create, and work together.
I feel the teaching and learning in my classroom comes from both teachers and students. We work together to create a safe, nurturing, and organized environment for all to learn and grow. A4 is a family and we succeed as a team. I have high expectations set for all of my students, which they will achieve. We connect their prior knowledge from previous years and experiences, to promote active participation and learning.
My classroom is always open to family and friends, so please stop by if you have any questions or concerns. We can always use extra hands on campus, and love to see the smiles. See you soon.
